STERLING, VA…Moser continued to celebrate its 150^th anniversary at the Fall New York Tabletop Market with the introduction of three engraved vases from the sesquicentennial collection. The illustrious Czech crystal company unveiled these vases along with a new stemware glass in the Dionys pattern.

“These three unlimited edition vases are part of the 150^th anniversary collection which was created to mark an important occasion in Moser’s history. They are intricately engraved with delicate motifs that showcase the extraordinary talent of Moser’s master engravers. Throughout its long history, Moser has been known for its engraving skills, a tradition that undoubtedly began with its founder Ludwig Moser who was an exceptionally gifted engraver,” commented Maureen Ellis, director of marketing for Moser in the U.S. “We are also expanding the Dionys Collection with the introduction of a Martini Glass.”

The Alexandra Vase (7.9-inches high) is a breathtaking aquamarine colored vase with an engraved ocean life motif of fish, coral, kelp, starfish and other ocean creatures. It has a slightly flared shape. Two of the vases have design elements taken from a summer meadow; bees, dragonflies, grasses and wildflowers capture the essence of a beautiful summer day. The four-paneled Fleur Vase (7-inches tall) has a rose colored underlay and clear base which is also engraved. The Paradise Vase (7.9-inches high) is in the summer-inspired color of eldor (yellow); it has a flower-like shape rising from a round base with hand-cut detail on each side reminiscent of pleated fabric. Moser is known for its luscious rich colors as demonstrated in these three vases.

Suggested retail prices are $2,505 for the Alexandra Vase, $1,785 for the Fleur Vase and $1,700 for the Paradise Vase.

The 150^th anniversary collection of more than one hundred pieces, many of which were shown at the Spring Tabletop Market in New York City, contains both historical replicas as well as contemporary designs created by prominent Czech glass artists.

Moser expanded the Dionys collection with the introduction of a Martini Glass (5.9-inches tall, 5 ½ oz.). Named after the Greek god of wine, Dionysus, the collection emphasizes purity of line and shape designed to enhance the pleasure of wine drinking. With the introduction of the Martini Glass, the collection expands to include the enjoyment of cocktails. Suggested retail price is $60.
