Flying Decanter Set
Re-released from the Moser Archives, the Flying Decanter Set was designed by artist Alexandr Pfohl circa 1931. This set embodies the design style "Streamline". The Industrial Age spawned new modes of transportation - automobiles, trains, ships and airplanes - that reflected the "new beauty" of machine and speed. The style was called Streamline and it eventually moved from machines (such as Walter Chrysler’s "Airflow" automobile and the "20th Century Limited" Train by Henry Dreyfuss) to practical objects and products.
