Drift Ice
An exciting pattern from Moser: sharp edges and cuts mimic the overlapping sheets of ice known as drift ice. The pattern is created using an “off-hand” cutting process whereby there is a uniform stopping point on the crystal but the actual placement of the design varies by the cutter. As a result, each cutter leaves behind his own “handwriting” and the subtle variations render each piece a unique, handcrafted work of art. Drift Ice is available in both a double-old-fashioned and hiball size as well as the full spectrum of Moser colors: clear, alexandrite (purple or blue depending on the light source), aquamarine, eldor (yellow) , rosalin (reddish-pink), smoke and topaz.
